A woodland wedding at Abbeywood Estate
Free spirits Becki and Sam wanted as much of their big day to be an outdoor wedding as possible. So not surprisingly they chose the fabulous Abbeywood Estate and Gardens in Delamere, Cheshire to host their wedding. The idyllic woodland setting on the grounds was the perfect backdrop for their ceremony.
Escorted by her Dad and her bridesmaids, Becki strolled past huge old trees towards a nervous Sam who was waiting to marry her. The sun shone down through the branches in pools of dappled light, every wedding videographers dream! The sun sparkles from the crystals on Becki’s gown were unreal! The moving readings from the couples siblings made sure there wasn’t a dry eye amidst the congregation. One of the loveliest ceremonies I have had the pleasure to film.
Abbeywood Estate covers 45 acres of land which gives plenty of scope to put your own stamp on the place. Which this wonderful couple did in abundance! Becki and Sam utilised the bright and airy glasshouse for their wedding breakfast and speeches. Becki’s Dad Dave stole the show with his absolutely wonderful father of the bride speech.
Tipi’s provided by local firm Tipi Unique were set up on the huge lawns of Abbeywood Estate where the newly-weds and their guests partied in luxe glamping style as the sun went down.
I could not resist flying my drone up into the air numerous times over the course of this wedding! Abbeywood Estate is as stunning from above as it is from the ground.
My time at Abbeywood Estate with Becki and Sam was so enjoyable, it was the perfect day in a wonderful setting for these two lovebirds.
