Cheshire Lockdown Wedding – Love in 2020
2020 is turning out to be a bit of a dark time for our beloved wedding industry, however as Martin Luther King said “Only in darkness can you see the stars” and it turns out we are surrounded by superstars! Since March we’ve been inundated with well wishes from our amazing couples, who all worked with us to get their dates postponed and for that we are so thankful. We really are so honoured to work with the best people and can’t wait for 2021 for all those wonderful weddings!
Without the lockdown restrictions we wouldn’t have also had the opportunity to film and photograph the gorgeous intimate Cheshire lockdown wedding of Tom & Atousa, who were determined to get married after postponing their wedding due to restrictions earlier in the year.
A cheshire lockdown wedding is not for everyone, but there is something so romantic about two people who won’t let anything stop them from tying the knot, and it was incredibly special to be there to capture the day with them and their 7 lovely guests.
With family and friends far away in other countries on the brides side, and shielding parents tucked up at home on the grooms side, our couple celebrated with a handful of close friends at the stunning Delamere Manor, one of our favourite local venues. The rain stayed away and we were able to watch Tom & Atousa get married outdoors on the patio with the gorgeous vista at Delamere Manor in front of them.
The day went off without a hitch, and though small still had so many sweet and touching moments that are the reason we love weddings so much.
Here are some of our favourites of the beautiful images Sarah captured:

If you are planning a lockdown wedding please do get in touch! We are now able to both photograph and film, as well as live stream weddings so that family and friends can join you in the moment from their homes.
