Soughton Hall, Mold
On a splendid summer's day in July, it was finally time for Zoe and Shaun's wedding day. And as a Flintshire Wedding Photographer & Videographer, we were honoured to be asked to capture the day. The bride got ready at home with her bridal party, sipping champagne and sharing laughter, excitement for the day percolating in the air. The anticipation was heightened by the closely guarded secret of her wedding dress, which up until now had only been seen by the mother of the bride.
Zoe's wedding dress was simply stunning. Her elegant v-neck slip dress, adorned with an alluring open back, a true embodiment of style and grace. She meticulously styled her hair into an elegant bun and secured a full chapel veil with delicately detailed intricate bead work from a tiara perched upon her head. To complete her bridal look, Zoe chose simple yet stunning silver jewellery - a single diamond pendant on a delicate chain gracing her neck.

The bouquet and buttonholes were provided by the artistic touch of Lilac and Thyme. While the church and venue were adorned with wild, romantic florals provided by Wild Floral. Off-white blooms mingled with verdant greens, evoking a sense of natural beauty and a classic wedding style - very much the tone of the day.
The ceremony took place at a lovely red stone church in Heswall - St. Peter’s Church. As the organ played the bridal chorus, Zoe made her grand entrance, her smile radiating happiness. The sounds of a string quartet played during their exchange of vows, and their first kiss was met with the joyful laughter and cheers of their beloved congregation
Their reception venue was the magnificent Soughton Hall, located just beyond the Welsh border in Flintshire. This grade II listed Georgian Country House is a sight to behold. A grand sweeping avenue lined by majestic trees leads up to the house. The couple's photo shoot under the shade of centuries-old trees added an extra layer of romantic ambience to their day. Golden summer light dappling them as they shared this quiet, romantic moment together.

The guests gathered in a marquee on the estate's lush grounds became the hub for dining and lively celebration. Forthwith, it was time for the heartfelt and emotional speeches delivered. The groom, father of the bride and best man all did so wonderfully. Finally then, it was time to let loose and celebrate. The dance floor came alive to the music provided by the band Wedding Jam, creating a night filled with joy and dancing.
Zoe and Shaun's wedding day was a blissful combination of romance and happiness. As a Flintshire Wedding Photographer & Videographer it was an absolute pleasure to capture every precious moment. We cherish the opportunity to be a part of their special day and wish the newlyweds a lifetime of love and happiness. Cheers to Zoe and Shaun!
