Ormskirk, Lancashire

Today, Ian and Trish had their long-awaited wedding - held at West Tower in Ormskirk. A beautiful and unique wedding venue and also one we know well as a Lancashire Wedding Photographer & Videographer. Firstly, they spent a busy and excited morning getting ready in their suites. Which was followed by an emotional dress reveal shared between the bride and the groom. Then, the waiting was over and it was time for the ceremony to begin. The service took place at the Our Lady & All Saints RC Church in Parbold. A breathtaking Victorian church adorned with stunning stained glass windows. As Trish walked down the aisle to the string trio, she passed under a spectacular arch created by white blossom trees, provided by Uplit Events.

She truly looked absolutely resplendent in her ball gown style dress, which had a Bardot neckline and beaded detailing. Her jewellery was a simple and understated diamond necklace resting just above her collarbone. The bouquet and the decor for the day featured a mix of white and dusky purple florals, accentuated by the calm, verdant tones of eucalyptus. Ian complemented his bride perfectly in an off-white suit and a hazel tie.

Later on, they had their couple shoot in the grounds of the venue, which is spacious with green areas lined with mature trees. The setting and weather were spot on, the bride and groom happy and beaming. Straightaway they were super comfortable in front of the camera and their personality really shines through on the photos. As a wedding photographer & videographer, we love to see you enjoying yourselves.

And then the speeches - oh my god - it might be easier to say who didn’t cry! What heart-felt, beautiful words shared between such loving and supportive families. The fiercely strong bond between them all, the pride felt at watching this young couple become husband and wife, just absolutely filled the room to bursting. In truth the happiness shared at witnessing Trish and Ian's union was immense. The groom’s speech to his wife in particular was just wow. What he said to her has set a high bar for all future husbands to be!

After the dinner and speeches, Trish made a quick change into a gown more fitted to partying but equally as stunning, and the night could get under way. The dining room was transformed into a lively dance floor by the venue staff and the bride and groom lead the way with the dancing. After such an emotional day filled with tears of happiness, it was time to let loose, dance joyfully, and enjoy a few drinks. The DJ they had booked had everyone - and we mean everyone - up on their feet in no time.

As wedding photographers, our main goal is to capture these moments and create a lasting memory through our wedding photography & videography. It was a privilege to be part of Trish and Ian's special day, and we hope that the photos and videos we created for them will allow them to relive those magical moments for years to come.
