Finally, Elizabeth and Ian's long-awaited wedding day had arrived. And in the picturesque town of Llangollen, they meticulously planned the stage for a truly enchanting day to unfold. A day where love and tradition would intertwine to create a magical union. As a Llangollen Wedding Videographer, it was our job to capture every moment of this beautiful day, ensuring that the memories would last a lifetime. The anticipation of the day began with the bride getting ready at their charming cottage, surrounded by her family and bridal party. Meanwhile, the groom made his own preparations at the reception venue on the other side town.

The congregation gathered at the exquisite St. Collen’s Church in the heart of the town for the ceremony. The church, adorned with bursts of colourful florals, provided the perfect backdrop for the couple's vows. The traditional ambience of the setting harmonised seamlessly with the couple's style, making the day all the more special.

To the sounds of trumpets and a choir the bride made her way down the aisle. She wore elegant pearl earrings, a pearl bracelet, and a diamond bracelet for her jewellery. She wore a stunning v-neck gown, which she complemented with a full chapel veil and delicate lace head piece. The bouquet and floral arrangements for the day were an explosion of vibrant colours - oranges, blues, pinks. An entire array of flowers including yellow and pink roses, peonies, and lilacs.

Videography captures your wedding in time....

Following the ceremony the couple stole away and took some time alone together at Horseshoe Falls, a place dear to their hearts. Lizzie donned her bridal white Hunter Wellingtons and they wandered hand in hand down to the shoreline for a quiet moment. Sipping champagne in the sunshine and relishing the beginning of their journey together - what perfection!

The reception was held at the magnificent Llantysilio Hall, a listed building just a stone's throw away from Horseshoe Falls. While not strictly a traditional wedding venue, Lizzie'es planning transformed it into a perfect space for the day. A marquee was erected to host the meal and dancing while classic furniture, and vintage rugs adorned the lawns for the guests to lounge on. Later, as the sun began to set and cast its golden glow the couple slipped away for their couple-shoot , espresso Martinis in hand, of course.

Relive every detail over and over...

The evening unfolded with Ian delivering a touching and heartfelt speech that had the room enthralled. Their first dance, choreographed to perfection, showcased the couple's love and harmony. Soon, everyone joined in dancing to the amazing music provided by the 14-piece band, filling the marquee with joyful dancing.

The night was far from ordinary as the couple had arranged for exciting entertainment. Confetti cannons, a fire-breather added a touch of magic after the sun had gone down, and the evening concluded with a breathtaking sparkler send-off, a perfect finale to their unforgettable day.

As a Llangollen Wedding Videographer today was a real treat to be part of. It was a day of love, tradition, and memories that they will cherish for a lifetime, a day that will forever etch itself in their hearts. Our sincere thanks to Lizzie and Ian for asking us to join them. Many happy returns!

Love,

Sarah & Paul
