December Wedding at Anran Manor, Devon

December. It's a month of festivities, of love, and of new beginnings. And finally, today is the day for Hollie and Jamie to tie the knot. The weather was absolutely perfect. The sun was shining through a morning mist, the air was clear and crisp. Ideal conditions for Wedding Videography. There is something really so special about a December marriage ceremony - and as Torquay Wedding Videographer it's one of our favourites. Hollie and Jamie's celebration was truly something else and we are so excited to share the results with you.

Firstly, the church - St Matthew’s in Landscove, a gorgeous grade II listed building - is nothing short of a fairy-tale. Amongst the guests was a palpable sense of joy, with just a hint of nervousness and anticipation, not to mention the groom! As bride entered, adorned in a dress with intricate off-white beaded detailing, she looked ethereal. A stunning image in her full length silk dress, vintage Dior earrings and Hugo Boss shoes. Her traditional long veil draped over her as she walked down the aisle.

Vintage Chic Wedding

Following a beautiful and emotional ceremony, the church bells rang out, signalling the end (and the beginning of their new life together!). The couple left the church under a shower of dried rose petal confetti. The bride then threw her bouquet - in true traditional wedding style. As a surprise from the father of the groom the couple travelled in style to the reception in a vintage Jaguar car. It's in these moments that I truly appreciate my role as a Torquay Wedding Videographer. To capture not just the outward beauty and romance, but also the essence of the day to be replayed and relived in brilliant detail.

Moving onto the reception venue - aptly named "The Glass House," part of Anran Manor, is nestled in the Devon country side. A renovated Victorian manor and grounds, it has a sophisticated, vintage chic vibe. Inside the reception venue, it is such an refined setting. With tall candelabras standing proudly, casting a warm glow upon the guests seated at long tables. Festive deep red flowers and white candles create a mesmerising tableau, while tropical plants tower over the diners along the edges, creating an atmosphere of whimsical charm.

The speeches, the meal, the guests - what a truly amazing celebration of love and friendship! Hollie and Jamie took gamble on growing their relationship, from friends to lovers, and have won something deeply beautiful that they will always cherish. Reflecting this was a night of festivities and merriment - they had the best music - anthem classics and a live saxophone to really get the dance floor going. And get going they certainly did!
