Standon Hall Wedding Videographer – A Styled Shoot at Staffordshire’s Newest Wedding Venue

We are always on the lookout for gorgeous wedding venues to film at and Standon Hall is set to become another favourite! The building is being carefully restored by its new owners Andrey & Joanne who are bringing it back to its former glory for exclusive use weddings. With stunning countryside views that go on forever and plans for formal gardens summer brides will be sure to love this historical location. We were invited along to film their most recent styled shoot and it was a pleasure to meet so many lovely vendors and work with them to create a gorgeous elegant style that shows off the amazing potential of this venue.

We have to mention the fabulous models who were styled perfectly by Anastasias Beauty & Beau Bella Hair Designs and the absolutely stunning gowns provided by J & J Designs Bridal & Iris & Belles that perfectly complimented the setting.

To us, Standon Hall is a building of grandeur and mystique that lends its great stature and importance to those that occupy its gilded spaces. We really wanted to portray this in the films, and we think we’ve managed it quite well! We hope you enjoy them.

We gathered so much footage from this fab day and it was a pleasure to edit. We loved filming the opening sequence of the film above.  The sweeping shots of the building with the drone to following the approach of the vintage wedding car.  It was also great to work with two incredibly talented and experienced photographers in Helen and Chris from Helen Williams Photography and Carpe Diem Photography respectively. They where such fun to work with and we can’t wait for our paths to cross again in the future!

Having so many talented suppliers come together to style this day really helped show off the potential of Standon Hall. Stunning floral displays by Buttercup and Daisies With Love draped the fireplace in the ceremony room. Lush foliage highlighted the entrance to the building.  More blooms cascaded down the wide wooden staircase accompanied by candles. When lit with the glorious natural light that poured though the huge feature window this old staircase shone. Tables were decadently dressed in shades of rose gold and blush. Glamorous details like mercury glass votives and crystal brooches on the chair sashes added extra luxe. Contemporary twists like the balloon arch and stationary completed the look. Truly a venue for those brides who desire elegance and beauty for their day.

It will be fantastic to see this venue fully renovated and used by couples to host their weddings. Standon Hall has witnessed many moments in its long past. We believe there are so many beautiful moments to be shared there in the future. We can’t wait to come back and film some of them!
