Wedding Ceremony Live Stream during COVID-19
It’s been such a challenging week for the wedding industry with many couples understandably rushing to postpone their March and April weddings due to the Coronavirus outbreak.
We are supporting all of our couples by moving dates and postponing wherever possible; however in some cases postponing isn’t an option and we are finding ways to solve the problems facing couples who have to go ahead with their wedding as planned, despite the sad reality that key guests won’t be there.
After hearing about the wedding of Lucy and Mark in Cheshire, who had to go ahead with their wedding on 19th March as planned despite many family members being unable to attend, we decided we wanted to do something to help. Sitting around waiting for news on whether weddings were going to be banned altogether wasn’t doing us any good at all; so my instinct was to get the camera and figure out how we can use our filmmaking technology to bring their wedding to their friends and family at home. We decided to offer to film and live stream Lucy and Mark’s ceremony for nothing other than the good feeling it gave us to do so. So that’s what we did. I’m so glad they welcomed me to their wedding. They were such a sweet couple. So excited to spend the rest of their lives together. They looked at each other with tears in their eyes during a touching and very emotional ceremony. Watching them get married it seemed all the tragedy happening around us was forgotten, at least for a time, and it was heart warming to do something I love for people that deserved everyone they love to see them get married and share in that special moment.
It was the first time Harvey Films has live streamed a wedding but it won’t be the last. Hearing from Mark that his friend had put on a suit, put the live stream on his telly and joined them in spirit was incredibly satisfying. He also happened to be in Singapore!
We don’t know what’s coming. We don’t know if weddings will go ahead next week or in April or further into the future. All we can do is take it one day at a time.
If your Cheshire wedding is going ahead this March or April and you’re looking at the prospect of key guests not being able to watch your ceremony then we want to hear from you! If we can we’ll film and live stream your wedding ceremony for nothing but love! Let’s see if we can try and bring people together without them actually being together… if that makes sense!
Weddings are about love and it’s an incredible business to be in. Right now, look for the love.
We are also able to take videography bookings for this summer too. Wedding ceremony Live stream looks to be here for the long term, and we want to be able to offer it to anyone getting married this year in addition to our other packages. Get in touch for more info and to check our availability.
